Darling Donkeys Week – Project #1

Happy Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying their new week. Of course most of my household are walking around like zombies while I am bright eyed. Typically I am the zombie and everyone else is bright eyed, LOL! My hubby claims he is a zombie today because I kept him awake practicing Karate in my sleep after watching Cobra Kai!

Last week my oldest son chose Darling Donkeys as the set for the week.

Today’s project features all three donkeys as they say hello to a special friend.

Look at those adorable faces. One is a cute little Don Juan, the next is so happy he is kicking up his heels, and the last reminds me of Eeyore in all of his sweet innocence.

Each image is stamped in Basic Gray. I used a blender pen to color in the donkeys using Smokey Slate. Some foam tape helps to pop up the sentiment while the Rhinestone Basic Jewels add a little sparkle.

I also added a bit of sparkle with the Wink of Stella pen. Not too much so it made it hard to capture on the photo, but just enough to highlight the donkeys.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Make sure to subscribe to Let It Snow Stamping so you never miss another blog post. Every week I pick a stamp set and make one project (possibly two) every weekday. As an added bonus I also make videos for new techniques. The techniques can also be found under the Technique Corner tab.
