Happy Stampin’ Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Today it has been gloomy and raining, but I love this kind of weather. Well, that is until the pups come in with muddy paws!
I asked my Facebook Group what set I should work with this week and they chose Merry Snowflakes from the current July-December Mini Catalog. The bundle comes with some wonderful impression plates in the die set. All of the images in the dark gray rectangles and squares are image impression plates. They do not cut out shapes, but rather, cut a design into the paper. I will feature an impression plate in tomorrow’s post.

Begin by scoring the card base at 4-1/4″, fold and burnish with a bone folder.
Emboss Smoky Slate piece using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
Next, die cut a frame using the largest scalloped rectangle frame from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies set in Basic Gray.
Adhere embossed layer to the card base using Stampin’ Seal adhesive,
Next, adhere small strip of DSP to the center of the card as shown below.
Adhere second piece of DSP to the inside of the scalloped frame, as shown below.
Adhere the framed piece to the card front at a slight angle in the middle of the card.
Die cut the largest sentiment frame from a scrap of Basic White cardstock. (Not pictured)
Now, stamp sentiment using Blushing Bride ink on to the sentiment frame.
Run adhesive on the back of the sentiment and stick ribbon to it in a “Z” pattern.
Using the Dimensionals edges, add Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment.
Glue to the front of the card.
Die cut and weed a snowflake. Then, color it with the Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle to it. Set it aside to dry during the next step.
Adhere inside panel to the inside of the card base. If you prefer, stamp a small snowflake image in the lower right corner in Blushing Bride ink.
Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to half of the snowflake to adhere to sentiment.
Add three rhinestones to the project.
