This weekend has been an indoor weekend. It has been so cold here that they shut down our school district on Friday. We saw temps in the -30’s overnight Thursday night. Our biggest concern were the dogs. They do not like being stuck inside for so many days and for so long. Watson did not like when I would call him back in after 3 minutes. I don’t care if they are part Huskie or not! That being said, I have spent a lot of time keeping them entertained. I’m ready to go back to work!
Last post I had added some pics of the first few pages of my first traveling journal. Needless to say, I updated them. I could not handle the misspelling of the group name, so I changed it out of principle. I also added a couple of things on my About Me page. Before I sent it off to Texas, I decided to take pictures to share with you. I hope you enjoy the pages.

My inside cover page contained a letter to my Journaling Sisters. Mostly just an introductory letter with some facts about myself and the rules for adding to my journal. On the title page, I fixed the title and liked it much better. I forgot to take a picture of the little quote I had inside the envelope on the bottom left.

I changed up my Roll Call pages a bit. I decided to make the right side a photo gallery for my sisters to add a pic of themselves if they wanted to.

I added a couple of new stickers since the last post, but this my Favorite Things spread.

I added a Favorite Quote page for my sisters to add their favorite quotes. I placed mine behind my title and added some foam tape behind the stamp.

I added a Pawtrait Gallery so my sisters could add a photo of their pet. Under my picture I added my puppy’s names on a pop up tab. I could have worked a bit harder to work on decorating the inside, but I was too busy trying to get the pop-up element to work! It’s been many years since I did a pop-up card!

I’m not really a big coffee drinker according to my husband. I drink a bit of coffee with mostly milk and some creamer! However, I do like the smell and look of coffee. Baristas make some of the coolest designs in the foam. I made this spread so that my sisters could add coffee pictures they like. The pictures can be real drinks or can be cut out of ads or magazines.

This is the Mod Podge background to my next page. I had a lot of fun putting it together. Since I used a really old book that was falling apart, I did not have to ink any edges. Once everything dried, I trimmed the edges.

I added several composition book cut outs with paper underneath so each person could write the title of their favorite book inside. It is a cute and fun interactive page.

Each sister is encouraged to add their favorite things to this spread. Mine are pictures, peanut M&M’s, and memes that resemble me!

This travel spread is a great place for my sisters to share where they have been. I added a pic from my hotel window on our trip to Rio.

How fun is this? Everyone can share their favorite musician or album, then pull out the record and write whatever they want on it. I managed to add one of my favorite button pins onto the page.

I created this page to ask my sisters for their favorite color pallets. I am always looking for more ideas and this is a great way to get some first hand.

Who doesn’t love Washi tape. This a great way to showcase some of your favorites! Just leave a strip to make it look like a book!

I added a swap spread to trade items with the girls. Take some/leave some to spread the joy!

On the last page of my journal, I added a recipe page. My sisters can add their favorite easy recipe of they would like.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of my first traveling journal. I cannot wait to see how it comes back to me. Each sister has room to add their own About Me spread as well as adding to all of the interactive pages I included. I should have taken a picture of how thick it looked before I mailed it. I am sure it will come back stuffed!
