Have you ever had a Stampin’ Up! suite call to you? I mean really call to you? I have to say that the Snowflake Splendor suite called to me loud and clear! And how can it not with a name like “Let It Snow Stamping”?
I’m sure you noticed from the last post that I love Snow Season. The beauty and quite the snow brings is like no other. Too bad I can’t sit on my porch to enjoy it like I can enjoy a nice calm summer night. Every year I do the first snow shovel of the season with an actual snow shovel. After that I let the kids take over using the snow thrower! My back really thanks me for that, LOL!
This weekend my Stampahowlics team conducted a Virtual Stamping Party. I learned a few new techniques and creative folds so naturally I used the Snowflake Splendor suite for most of them. Contact me if you would like to join the Virtual Party Group for our next party in November! I will post a new technique or creative folds in the next few blogs from the October Virtual Party.
Pop-Up Cube box Card fold
For the above pictured card, I used Night of Navy cardstock as the base, Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper for the sparkle parts of the snowflakes, Whisper White and Highland Heather for the snowflakes and the center sentiment, Snowflake Splendor DSP, and Rhinestone Basic Jewels. For the snowflake die cuts I used So Many Snowflakes Dies and the small snowflake from the Christmas Layers Dies only because it is one of my favorite small and simple snowflake dies. All item links can be found below at the end of this blog post.
How do I make the pop-up card?
I did not realize how easy this fold was. It is even made easier using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool on page 151 of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I made a quick little 10 minute video to show you how to make this fun card using the Forever Greenery DSP pack and Just Jade. The PDF Template file can be found HERE. Be kind, this is my first ever video! I have a lot to learn!
