Sneak Peak – Enjoy the Moment (Day 3)

Hello! I have another project from the Enjoy the Moment set from Stampin’ Up! that will be available to order on January 5th, 2021 from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

Today’s card features a Diagonal Easel fold. This is the perfect fold for anyone who would like to bump up their game, but not have to stress out about it being too difficult. I added a video at the end of this post to walk you through making a Diagonal Easel card!

As your friend pulls this card out of the envelope, they will see what looks like a normal card.

With it’s hint of sparkle from the Wink of Stella pen on the Gray Granite die cut, these Pacific Point colored pods have a curious appeal. Dimensionals pop it up just enough to give it texture but not too bulky to mail in a regular A2 envelope with one stamp.

The card opens up to a blank inside with a little sentiment that is raised to act as the easel holder. Even for someone who has never seen this type of fold, as they open it, the card folds naturally to fall into place on the holder sentiment.

If they still haven’t grasped how unique this card is, then the main element might give them a clue when they notice that it is only glued down on one side of the card.

And if you want to make it easy, you can add instructions on the backside of the card front! That’s what I did when I sent mine out. I did not want them to miss how special this card was! It makes a beautiful display on the mantel or on a cubical desk at work!
