Here we go! Today’s post is finally here! Drum roll………..

For today’s card I decided to use some of my DSP (gasp!). This coming from the paper hoarder! I love to buy DSP, but I also love to save it for that special project that has not been thought of yet (and probably won’t be until it has been retired for 6 months, if I’m lucky). I have a problem cutting up a perfectly beautiful sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP, but this set it was a little bit easier to cut into. It is the Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP (Item #154297) from the new Mini Catalog. 6″ x 6″ didn’t seem so bad to cut into when compared to the 12″ x 12″, which was a good thing because it looks awesome on this card!

The little accents from Flowers for Every Seasons Gem pack (Item #153645) add just enough bling to the sentiment.

Don’t miss the three little Rhinestone Basic Jewels (Item #144220) down in the lower right hand corner. These little guys help to make sure the eye sees the full card from upper left to lower right so as not to miss anything.

For a little added texture, I added a bit of ribbon that sneaks out a bit from behind the sentiment. The first layer is the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (Item #146912) that can be easily missed except for the net like texture it brings to the card, almost as though a delicate butterfly has landed on the dandelions in the background. Above that is the 2020-2022 In Color Ribbon in Misty Moonlight (Item #153624) with it’s woven texture that is softened by the tulle.

Let’s not forget to add bling to the sentiment. The Wink of Stella pen (Item #141897) highlights the wider areas of the scripted words to make them pop right out at you!
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. I have one more to share with you tomorrow before the weekend.
