Happy Wednesday!
Ok, I promise tomorrow I will do a card that is a different color other than blue! When I think of my guys here, I think blue. Maybe that is because when I was waiting for them to arrive all the stores had for baby boys was in blue. My kids all have a specific color they favor. One loves anything blue, another favors red, and the other one favors green. Maybe tomorrow I will try a form of red like Merry Merlot.
Today’s card is a Casual Stamper level card, only because of the embossing and the use of Foam Adhesive Strips to mount the card front to the card base. This can be stepped back to make it a Beginner Level card by removing those two techniques.

In any case, today’s card uses a Night of Navy card base. My card base measures 8-1/2″x5-1/2″ and is scored at 4-1/4″ for a crisp fold. Next I cut my card front to 4″x5-1/4″ and embossed it using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. This really helped my other elements pop on the card.

Next I added my elements
Note: All images were stamped in Night of Navy.
- Designer Series Paper measures 1-1/2″x4-3/4″
- Misty Moonlight strip measures 4″x1/2″
- Banner piece in Smoky Slate measures 1″x1-1/2″
- Stamped image circle is from the Layering Circles Die set and I used the 1-3/8″ circle
- The scalloped circle measures about 2-3/4″

I used dimensionals to pop up the circle elements. I also used Foam Adhesive Strips to pop up the card front from the card base since they were both the same Night of Navy color.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Make sure to subscribe to Let It Snow Stamping so you never miss another blog post. Every week I pick a stamp set and make one project (possibly two) every weekday. As an added bonus I also make videos for new techniques. The techniques can also be found under the Technique Corner tab.

Delightful card. I so love that set. Love the blue paper choices. Nicely done!
