It feels like I have been away forever, and yes, I suppose I have!

After having COVID, I developed Pneumonia, all before my birthday trip to Puerto Rico! Luckily, my doctor said I could still go as long as I rested while on my meds. So, that’s just what I did! And, apparently so did my creative juices for card making (Oh No!!!) However, I still learned new crocheting stitches just to keep the creative juices from freezing up all together!

The weekend before my birthday, my two older sons took me to a local scrapbooking expo. We did not stay long, because I was still recovering, but it was still fun. I learned a couple of new techniques I can use in my cardmaking and all of the ladies were in awe that my grown boys would take their mom to an SB expo for her birthday. They were the stars of the day!

One of the boys snuck a picture of me while the other stood behind me watching. Here I was learning a new bow tying technique that I can’t wait to try on my cards (providing I can remember how to do it!)

A few days later, my hubby, our youngest (my birthday buddy), and I left for Puerto Rico on our birthday trip. It was a BIG birthday this year for both my son and I. He teased me that we did the “grown up” birthday celebration for me (dinner at a “fancy” restaurant), while we went to an arcade for his celebration, LOL! We also did a 2 mile zip line (highlight of the trip for me) at 95 mph! I also got to cross off one more large body of water from my bucket list. The Caribbean Sea.

Irresistible Blooms Update

Now, after a few days to unpack and get back into routine, I sat down and created some cards using the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set. I also used the matching die set, but at the present time, the matching die set is unavailable until April 17th.
