Have you ever created something and felt good about how it turned out? Have you ever created something and didn’t quite like how it turned out, but everyone else loved it? When I love what I have created, I usually don’t get the feedback I am looking for. Maybe I am just weird?? I don’t know, LOL. Then when I make something that seems so-so to me, my friends think it’s awesome. That happens a lot with my cards. I think the cards that I spend the most time on turn out blah to me because I have been staring at it for so long that I get tired of it. In the end I plop on embellishments in hopes that I might like it later. The funny thing is, that I look at it a few days later and think, “Did I make that? It doesn’t look like something I made, but it sure is cool!” Sometimes I impress myself!

Lately, I have been posting my creations on a website called SplitcoastStampers. It is a wonderful website to find ideas and learn new techniques. Most of my stamping friends know of this wonderful resource, but my beginning stamping friends might not. So please, go check it out!

Over the past few weeks I have managed to get voted onto the Clean And Simple (CAS) Favorites list and this week I was voted onto the Favorites list. What does this mean? It means that other talented artists liked my creation. Hundreds of cards are reviewed each week and I have made it onto the lists once each week! I only post a few cards each week so it is exciting for me. I don’t think of myself as talented, not when I compare my designs to others. I also look at a lot of card ideas online and take components of different cards and mingle them together to get what I am looking for. I thank these artists for helping me create my designs. One day I may come up with a totally BrandyAnn-Design, but for now, I will seek my inspiration from others as most artists do.
In the mean time, I wanted share what others have deemed as a Favorite of theirs. Enjoy!

Remember, if there is someone in self isolation who needs a smile, please contact me and I will send them a smile from Let It Snow Stamping!
