Today is Day 2 of projects made with the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle from Stampin’ Up!
Today’s project is inspired by Heidi Baks’ Ode to Coffee.
One fun tip for newbies is to use thinly cut cardstock pieces in place of ribbon. If you have an embossing folder with a small texture pattern, such as the Subtle (151775) or Tasteful Textile (152718) Embossing Folders, you can use that to give your paper strip some simple texture to make it look more like ribbon.
I wanted to try my hand at the mini bendi fold and thought these colors would look great on it, and guess what, it did! I think the only thing I would change for next time is to cut the Bermuda Bay tab at an angle so they would not be so noticeable. I love that this fold also folds flat for mailing.
