Ahhhh the last post of 2020….. Overall it wasn’t such a bad year for me. Probably only because I am a Glass is Half Full kind of gal. I have always looked on the bright side of things. I have my family, a loving husband, food in the fridge, and a roof over my head. COVID-19 did ruin some plans and my ability to work, but I was able to spend more time with my youngest (who never got me at home full time like his older brothers did) to help him through remote learning. Travel plans changed into non-stressful family time to play games and watch old movies together by the nice warm fire. Even the pups enjoyed that! 2020 also gave me the opportunity to work on what I love doing. I still put in long days creating, blogging, posting, and mailing out my Smiles, now that I cannot do that in person. I was even able to create an Activities to Connect Facebook group for those looking for cognitive activities they can no longer attend in person in assisted living communities. My groups are small, but we will grow together with as little stress as possible in the coming year.
Now to look forward to 2021 and the possibilities it will bring. What are your crafting resolutions? I don’t typically write down resolutions, but I would like to see continued growth in my ability to share my Smiles (aka handmade cards) with more people.
Now for today’s Sneak Peak project!

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Not to mention a King Sized Chocolate Bar?? I asked my son to bring home a chocolate bar from work for my project. Little did I know he would bring me the King Sized bar! Lucky for me, this project is easy to adjust to fit any size candy bar or theater candy box.
This project gave me the chance to use the Ladybug Trinkets. These little Ladybugs are made of metal in Antique Gold. They are about 5/16″ in length and are about 1/8″ tall.

This set is so versatile! When I first got Enjoy the Moment, I was stumped. First off, I wasn’t sure what they were! It appeared that both featured WEEDS! Once I started stamping with it though, I found a whole new love of weeds and plant life. At least with these, I don’t sneeze and my black thumb can’t hurt them!

I wish you all a Happy & Safe New Year’s Eve! Come back tomorrow to see the last project showcasing the Enjoy the Moment cling set and the first post of the new year!
