Fun Fold Time!
Today’s project is a Color Block Sticky Note Easel Card! Say that 10 times fast!
The front is deceiving as it looks like a normal patchwork greeting card when pulled from it’s envelope.

The surprise is on the inside! Ta-Da!

Well, not really, hahaha! The surprise is in the easel. Look at how sweet it looks now when it is propped up on the sticky notes.

My hubby said it was very girly. I think he thought I was making it for him when I asked for his sticky notes! But, I had my mom in mind when I made this for her desk at work (shhhhhh….it’s a surprise!)
When I mail it, I will mail it with a shorter stack of sticky notes for easy mailing.

I popped up the sentiment with dimensional strips and added the clear gems because I did not want to take away from the color blocking.

I also added a video to help you along your stamping journey. As you will see, color blocking is actually pretty easy. It can be done with blending brushes, daubers, or brayer. I have even done it with a cotton ball! So grab a handful of those advertisement sticky notes you have in the junk drawer and get to color blocking!
You will need:
Two 4″x5-1/4″ card front panels
One 11″x4-1/4″ card base
3″x3″ sticky note pad
