Darling Donkeys Week – Project #5

Happy Friday! It’s the end of the week and the weekend looms ahead. What are your plans for the weekend? I am hoping to start working on my Virtual Event coming on February 13th, 2021! Today has been a little hectic again for our family. My pup, Mystique, who had the allergic reaction the other day, had to go to the vet today because she was still scratching and was now losing tufts of fur. They injected her with an allergy shot and she is peacefully napping by my feet as I type. Hopefully with a bit of OTC Benadryl, that her vet recommended, she will be back to her old self by Monday.

Today’s project features the jumping for joy donkey. I mean, why not? It’s FRIDAY!!

I chose to make a slim line card for today’s project. It fits perfectly in a #10 business envelope. The card base is a sheet of Just Jade cardstock measuring 8″x9″ and is scored at 4″ on the 8″ side. I decided to use Designer Series Paper today from the Forever Greenery DSP pack.

Donkey is stamped using Momento Tuxedo Black and I used the Layering Circles die set to cut him out and make his layers. The bottom layer is attached to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals foam adhesive to pop it up a bit.

This is one of my favorite sentiments from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Approaching Perfection. This set, like Darling Donkeys, can be yours for free with a qualifying $50 purchase. I made the banner edges with scissors. I made a quick video not too long ago showing you how to make the perfect banner edges. Click on the video link at the end of this post. My banner was attached using Foam Adhesive Strips and I added some Rhinestone accents for a little bling!
