Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice weekend with their Valentine.
Today’s project features the Dragonfly Garden Cling Stamp Set and the Dragonflies Punch.

I find that I don’t always like my card fronts to be centered on the card base. Off setting the card front like I did here gives it a fresh new look. Beginning with a blank card front measuring 4-1/4″x5-1/2″, I stamped the plant in Old Olive and then ran it through the Brick and Mortar embossing folder. This makes it so much easier to get a crisp image instead of stamping on an embossed background (rookie mistake), unless you mean for it to not be stamped clearly, that is.

Next I stamped my sentiment and dragonfly on a scrap piece of Basic White. I cut out the sentiment and mat using the Layering Squares Dies. The dragonfly was punched out using the Dragonflies Punch then both were glued on with Foam Adhesive Strips. Next I punched out two of the smaller dragonflies with the Dragonflies punch from a scrap of Blackberry Bliss and attached them with liquid glue.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Make sure to subscribe to Let It Snow Stamping so you never miss another blog post. Every week I pick a stamp set and make one project (possibly two) every weekday. As an added bonus I also make videos for new techniques. The techniques can also be found under the Technique Corner tab.
