I couldn’t leave you hanging for Wednesday’s project just because my internet was down yesterday.
This was such a cute and fast birthday card using the Approaching Perfection SAB set. This sentiment is my absolutely my favorite birthday sentiment!

I started out with a Bermuda Bay card base measuring 8-1/2″x5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Then I used the SAB Oh So Ombre DSP pack which will retire on Sunday, so make sure you get yours today! The first layer measures 4″x5-1/4″. The circle layer measures 2-1/4″x5-1/4″.
Then I stamped my sentiment and candles on a scrap piece of Basic White and cut it out using the Stitched So Sweetly rectangle die. This I tacked down using dimensionals.
Next, I made a bow out of white twine (using the fork method to tie the bow) and glued it on the front using the Fine Tip Glue.

Next I added some Stampin’ Blends colored rhinestones to the candles.

When you color the rhinestones with Stampin’ Blends, they dry almost instantaneously and are permanent. I color them while they are still in their packaging so I don’t mar the paper by accident.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Make sure to subscribe to Let It Snow Stamping so you never miss another blog post. Every week I pick a stamp set and make one project (possibly two) every weekday. As an added bonus I also make videos for new techniques. The techniques can also be found under the Technique Corner tab.
