Forever Fern – Project 2

Happy Stampin’ Tuesday!

Well, yesterday went rather well at the new job. I have a nice desk and beautiful view from my large window. Right now it is wonderfully green still. I may have to bring the kids to the property to take their photos and maybe even do a family photo. Today, I will decorate my desk with a few knick knacks to make it my own.

Last night, however, I was exhausted so I was only able to finish part of the card, but alas, I was able to complete it this morning and I absolutely love how it turned out! Lots of fall color in this little guy 🙂

I hope you enjoy recreating this beauty!

Close-Up & personal

To begin with, I created my own Designer Series Paper with ink and these lovely stamps from the Forever Fern stamp set. Then, I stamped more images on Basic White cardstock and cut them out with the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies to frame my sentiment.

I cut my DSP into four equal strips and tilted the middle two strips to add a bit of fun to the background. I also added a bit of organdy ribbon to soften up the card a bit.

I also popped up the sentiment and surrounding the foliage with Stampin’ Dimensionals so it would not blend in with the background.

I hope you enjoyed today’s fall colored card.

If you recreate this project, please show me! I’d love to see what you create 🙂

Have a Stamptastic day!
