Happy First Monday of 2021! Has it shaped up to a better Monday for you? For me it is the same as any other Monday. My alarm went off 4 times and I still didn’t want to get up! However, since Hubby has to work, I have to get up and work as well. A lot has gotten accomplished already today in my office. I’ve sent out Smiles to friends new and old, I put together a lesson plan for the month, worked on Facebook posts, drove my son to work, and even broke out the camera today for some photography practice. Next, once I finish this post I will work on my Vision Board for 2021. It should have been done already, but it has been hard to narrow down my ONE WORD for the year. Last year’s WORD was FOCUS. I had never imagined that COVID-19 would come and help me fulfill my Vision for 2020.
Don’t forget, today is the last day to place an order to catch the savings of the Giant Year-End Closeout sale. To place an order, simply click on the photo below. For more information click HERE
Now for Monday’s Project
This week I will be focusing on the Dandelion Wishes set. This beautiful set includes 3 dandelion stamps and 3 sentiments.
Today’s project is a Beginner Card with straight on stamping using a mask. For my first sample I used Whisper White cardstock and the Momento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I added a bit of Gold Metallic Trim (Item #152475) on the side to brighten it up a bit.

The images are stamped straight on to the card base. This can be a little bit scary, but we can always hide our mistakes with layers!
Masking on a card can be as simple as this! This is a straight line layer. I covered the card base with a large Post-It Note and stamped my images over the card base and the Post-It. When you take the Post-It off, you are left with a clean line (and hopefully straight!).

For card #2 instead of using the cord, I opted for bling, using the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (Item #144220).

These cute cards took less than 5 minutes to make.
Make sure to come back tomorrow to see the next project using this charming set!
