Happy Stampin’ Wednesdays!
This is day three of sharing samples from the Counting Sheep Cling Stamp Set. It is one of the sets you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration! The Project:
Beginner level
This beginner level card is fun and easy to make in less than 5 minutes. I love 5-minute cards, especially when I need something quick. You can even change the colors with ease. Pick a Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the background strip and pick a matching color cardstock for the frame. I will work on a few more of these using other stamps and papers and post them to the Facebook group this week. I have some really cute retired DSP I want to use.
Supply List:
- Counting Sheep Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set
- Sale-A-Bration Sheep Dies
- Basic White cardstock – Card base measures 5-1/2″x8-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″, rectangle piece measures 4-1/2″x2-3/4″
- Basic Black cardstock – 4-3/4″x3″
- Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 5-1/2″x2″
- Ink pad: Basic Gray
- Stampin’ Blends – Light Smoky Slate, Light Petal Pink, & Dark Basic Black
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Instructions:
Begin by adhering the DSP to the card base.
Next, stamp the image(s) in Basic Gray on the white cardstock rectangle piece, then color with Stampin’ Blends.
Using Basic Gray, stamp sentiment on the lower right corner of the card base.
Mount your colored sheep rectangle on the Basic Black piece. Note: I added the second sheep later because I was not happy with all of the negative space, LOL.
Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I colored a few of mine with a Stampin’ Blends Basic Black marker before sticking them to the card. The Stampin’ Blends are an awesome tool for coloring gems!
